Company Profile Registered with the Securitires and Exchange commission on April 8, 1980, Motorplaza, Inc. started operation on 1981, its main office at La Trinidad, Benguet and a branch at Calasiao, Pangasinan, It first began as a franchised dealer of Isuzu GM, selling Isuzu pick-ups, Kc-20 van and the very popular (Taxi) Gemini sedan, but after the assassination of former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino in August 21, 1983, the Philippines Economy took a nose dive, and many foreign owned company elected to close shop, including Isuzu GM. Motorplaza, Inc. remained in operation through the hard times and eventually acquire the Dealership of Mitsubishi Motors in 1987 for Region 1 and Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), later moving its Main Office to Calasiao, Pangasinan, and establishing three more branches in Baguio City in 1987, Bauang, La Union in 1991, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan in 1991, during the 1990’s, Motorplaza, Inc. was averaging one hundred units (aggregate) of various Mitsubishi Vehicles a month, until the 1997 asian financial crisis hit the Philippines economy. Currently the company’s monthly average is fifty five units (aggregate) of various vehicles sold, a total of thirty two work bays (aggregate) for after sales service, and almost a hundred employees excluding officers. In 2007, our Calasiao Main Office won the “Dealer Outlet of the year”, given by Mitsubishi Motors Phils. Corp.
